St. Paul Lutheran Church to celebrate 50th ordination anniversary of its pastor on Sunday

ST. PAUL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 311 Marlboro St., Hamlet, will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the ordination of its pastor, John Pfisterer, during a service of word and sacrament at 11 a.m. The sermon will be given by Pastor Kurt S. Strause of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The choir and musicians of St. Paul will provide special music, and a reception will be immediately following the service.
