Erin Elizabeth Mabe and Ryan Christopher Gibson were united in holy matrimony Nov. 14, 2015 at Cartledge Creek Baptist Church of Rockingham.
The bride is the daughter of Rick and Jewel Mabe of Rockingham and the granddaughter of John and Faye Hatcher of Rockingham. She is employed as a registered nurse at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital.
She was given in marriage by her parents. Katie Mabe, the bride’s sister, served as the maid of honor.
The bride’s gown was designed with three-quarter lace sleeves with lace appliques and sweetheart neckline. The full chiffon skirt was accented with a jeweled brooch. Her headpiece included a hand-beaded two-layer veil with crystal accents. Bride’s flowers featured a hand-tied bouquet of gerbera daisies, roses and mums.
The groom is the son of Chris and Sherry Gibson of Ellerbe and the grandson of Carl and Sharon Puckett of Ellerbe and Bernie and Barbara Jordan of Rockingham. He is employed as a probation officer by the state of North Carolina.
Best man was Chris Gibson, father of the groom. Buck Entwistle served as a groomsman and James Mims and Jacob Puckett served as ushers.
The Rev. Jason Lutz officiated the ceremony.
Wedding director was Nancy Many of Rockingham. Marsha Dyson of Rockingham served as program attendant and guest registrar.
Music was provided by Lauren Lutz, pianist, and vocalists Wessley Futrell and Alyse Player.
After a honeymoon in the Bahamas, the couple made their home on Roberdel Road in Rockingham.
