ROCKINGHAM — First-time author Teresa K. Page will celebrate her book “My Journey to Wholeness: The Sojourn Continues” with a reading and book-signing at 1 p.m. March 26 at the Holiday Inn Express.

The event will include a dessert reception and moderated question-and-answer session. Page describes the book as “the culmination of life lessons learned by a small-town country girl in the thriving metropolis of Atlanta.”

“Experience the author’s recent transformation — achieved through love and healing — as she forges a closer relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and reveals the degree of pressure one can reasonably bear,” Page wrote. “Learn how to discover the truth of the soul’s nature in spite of ourselves!”

Born in the house of Missionary Sarah M. Page and the late Elder William B. Page Sr., Teresa K. Page is the sixth of seven siblings raised in Hamlet. Since her graduation from Richmond Senior High School, Page has attained her bachelor’s degree in business management from UNC-Charlotte and her master’s of business administration in hospitality management at the Keller Graduate School of Management in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Page is the owner and operator of T. K. Page Enterprises Event Planning and Coordination Services.

Admission to the reading and book-signing is free. Guests are asked to register online before noon March 24. For more information, visit http://tkpenterprises.squarespace.com/events/.
