ROCKINGHAM — Carnie and Beth McDonald of Rockingham celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Feb. 20.
Carnie McDonald and Beth Preslar were married Feb. 20, 1966. The Rev. Ben Broadway officiated the ceremony.
The McDonalds have four daughters, Wendy McDonald Walker (Brian) of Lexington, Lisa McDonald of Greensboro, Marie McDonald Delgado (Carlos) of Whitsett and Sara McDonald of Wilmington, Delaware; and two grandchildren, Hailey Walker and Danielle Delgado.
Carnie and Beth McDonald are the owners and operators of Hamlet Ace Hardware.
