ELLERBE — The Ellerbe High School class of 1950 celebrated its 65th class reunion on Saturday, Sept. 12 at Denise’s Diner with 12 class members and six guests present.
Class members attending were Joyce Bennett Alford, Margaret Ussery Brookshire, Bill Cloninger, Jacquline Rankin Elam, Jack Frazier, Essie Lee Green Gilliam, William Howell, Jean Frazier Hutchinson, Peggy Robbins Long, Marlene Joyce Lowder, Leatha Green O’Neal and Mary Robinson Vuncannon.
After lunch, Mary and Ed Vuncannon invited everyone to their home for a time of fellowship and refreshments. During this time, class members took time to remember the many classmates who have passed away over the last 65 years.
