Mr. and Mrs. Michael Stripling of North Augusta, South Carolina, and Mr. and Mrs. Chris Bolen of Summerville, South Carolina, announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Stripling of Rockingham to Logan McKenzie, also of Rockingham.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Loron Stripling of Jackson, South Carolina, and Ethel Mason of Bath, South Carolina.

Melissa has her associate degree and is currently employed by the North Carolina License Plate Agency.

The groom-elect is the son of Kenneth and Linda McKenzie of Rockingham. He is the grandson of Doris Jones and the late William “Bill” Jones of Clio, South Carolina, and Lena McKenzie and the late Douglas McKenzie of Bennettsville, South Carolina.

Logan has a bachelor of science degree in professional studies from Kaplan University. He is currently employed as an employment specialist with Two Hawk Employment Services.

The wedding is set for 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015 at Roberdel Baptist Church in Rockingham.
