We all have issues with our computer’s performance from time to time, this should however not be taken as a window of opportunity to buy a new machine. Computers are very important and delicate but if you take care of them in the right way, then you will guarantee that the computer lasts longer than you ever imagined. Some time we may encounter some problems which may include slow speeds, lack of enough disk space and sometimes programs that fail to work effectively on the computers. You may only need to use XP tweaks to get your computer back into shape. This simply means that you need to find out some of the tricks that people like you who face problems with their machines use to get back on track.

XP tweaks in other words are just tips or tricks that people use to troubleshoot when their computers are in some kind of trouble. One of the basic XP tweaks is found in the computer itself. If you are having problems with the speed of your computer, you may just find the solution in the help panel of the computer. This option usually has several possible causes of your problem and also has recommendations on what you should do to correct the problem. One of the most common problems that bring about slow speeds in the computer may be the disk space which may be full. When the disk space on your computer’s hard disk is full it may not be very easy to operate some programs which need large memory to function.

In the case of such a problem, the computer will show you how you can easily increase the space on the disk without even having to buy another hard disk. Usually the computer has a lot of unnecessary files and data that are stored on the hard disk; these may be the first to be removed if you do agree to delete them. The computer has a technique that allows you to delete all the files that are not useful without taking a lot of time, in fact this process may take less than five minutes to complete and you will have your computer back in shape.

Another thing that may be causing your problems may be the size of your computer’s RAM. This is actually the memory of the computer which determines the speed at which the computer will process commands and applications. If your computer’s RAM is very small and you have a lot of programs that you run simultaneously, you may face a lot of complications. Usually the computer needs a lot of memory in order to process some programs and applications and one of the best XP tweaks that you can use here is to install more RAM to help you deal with the problem. There is almost a solution to every kind of a problem that you may be facing with your computer; it is very rare to find a problem that cannot be solved in an easy way if you put your mind and heart into it.
