ROCKINGHAM — A Rockingham man is accused of selling prescription pills to Richmond County sheriff’s deputies.
Deputies say Jonathan Lindsey Brown Jr., 26, of Broadway Street, was arrested Monday on an outstanding warrant for a charge of selling or delivering a Schedule III controlled substance.
Brown was also arrested on a misdemeanor charge of communicating threats, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Brown was jailed under an $11,000 secured bond.
Brown currently faces charges of simple assualt, violatiotion of a domestic violence protective order, violation of a court order and disorderly conduct in Richmond County.
