Mrs. Vivian Miller Walters, 88, 0f 211 Midway Road, Rockingham, N.C., died Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Walters was born in Bennettsville, S.C., on Nov. 29, 1925, daughter of Julian Matheson and Zuller Miller Norris.
Walters was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and she previously worked at Richmond Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Walters; daughters, LaWanda Goodwin of Ellerbe and Julia Walters of Bethesda, Md.; sons, Lacy Goodwin of Charleston, S.C. and David Walters of Rockingham; four grandchildren, Vern McDonald of Raleigh, Georgia Lee McDonald of Rockingham, and Kristine and Hannah Goodwin of Effingham, S.C.; and four great-grandchildren, Chase, Carson, Claire and McKenzie.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Midway Road, Rockingham, with the memorial service beginning at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Joe Arnold officiating.
