Locals volunteer for Oklahoma disaster relief efforts

Five men from the Rockingham Wesleyan Church, located 618 N. Lee St., Rockingham, left on Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, to help in the disaster relief of Moore, Okla., community residents. The men have joined volunteer efforts through the organization Poured Out in removing debris, distributing supplies, cleaning and sorting, and providing any other help to those living in the tornado ravaged area . They will return to Richmond County on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013.
