First Posted: 10/31/2014

A four-person captain’s choice golf tournament to benefit Richmond Senior athletics has been switched to 9 a.m. Nov. 8 at Foxfire Resort and Golf Club in Foxfire Village because of the threat of bad weather. The tournament was set to tee off today. The cost is $75 per person or $300 for a team and includes greens fee, cart fee and lunch. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams as well as closest to the pin and longest drive. There will also be a putting contest and the opportunity to win a car with a hole-in-one. Hole sponsorships are available. For information, contact Richmond athletic director Ricky Young at 910-997-9820.
