ROCKINGHAM — Richmond County’s N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles license plate office will be closed Monday through Friday next week.

The office at 801 E. Broad Ave., Rockingham, announced the July 21-25 closure on Wednesday. A sign on the door will direct drivers to the license plate office in Wadesboro.

Rockingham’s office will reopen July 28 and resume its regular 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. schedule.

Motorists who need to renew their North Carolina vehicle registration, transfer a title or order a license plate can visit the DMV license plate office in the Anson Government Center at 101 S. Greene St., Wadesboro.
