Murdaugh will be leading a seminar on “Grant Writing A-Z” in two parts. Part I will be held Monday, Sept. 9, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Part II will be held Tuesday, Sept. 10, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Richmond Community College’s Honeycutt Building in Laurinburg.

Many times non-profits have amazing visions and missions of how to help marginalized people and yet struggle to find funding or someone who believes in their cause. Murdaugh will share information that ensures these organizations that there is funding resources.
In this seminar, participants will learn how to find resources for grants, how to complete a grant application, how to write effective narratives for grants, how to sell visions to funding sources.
Murdaugh has experience as an attorney, community college instructor and administrator, grant writer and business owner. She presently serves as a pastor and is a certified counselor and consultant for non-profits throughout the Carolinas. Murdaugh has procured millions of dollars in grants during the last 20 years and has been teaching grant writing techniques since 1989.
